Welcome!
I'm a professor at Southern Utah University who is also affiliated with Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL). I do computational/theoretical astrophysics with Chris Fryer and other scientists at the Center for Theoretical Astrophysics. I study the most energetic events in the universe: supernovae, compact object mergers and black hole accretion. I am passionate about tackling difficult problems and communicating cutting-edge astrophysics in a way that fires the imagination. If you are a student looking for research opportunities, stop by my office and we can talk! This webpage is dedicated to my research and outreach activities. Feel free to browse! |
